Mini Beasts and Pond Dipping on various days, 1st - 31st July 2010
10.30am-11.30am. A search of the local area for creepy crawlies. Come and see what bugs and beasties are living in the area! We'll go for a walk to see what we can find and try our hands at pond dipping. Wellies and outdoor clothing required. £3.00 per child. Glencoe National Trust Visitor Centre, Glencoe.

Electrofishing, 24th July 2010
10am- Electrofishing is a scientific survey method used to temporarily stun fish so they can be caught- when fish are caught, quick checks can be done to determine species and abundance of fish. Join the Forestry Commission's environment staff and Lochaber Fisheries Trust to help with the important monitoring of fish in the Allt Na Caillich burn. Free event meet at Allt Na Cailliche car park. Booking is essential so please call on 01397 702184

3rd, 17th and 31st August - Parachute Games for Children. 10.30 - 11.30am - £1.00 per child, Glencoe National Trust Visitor Centre.

14th August - Glenfinnan Highland Games - starts 11.30am, Glenfinnan Village.

15th August - Highland Wedding Fayre - 11am - 4pm - Nevis Centre, Fort William £3.00 entry fee

21st August - Glenfinnan Gathering and Highland Games - 11.30am - 5pm - held in the shadow of the Glenfinnan Jacobite Monument.

22nd August - Lochaber Agricultural Show - 10am - 6pm - Happy Valley, Torlundy.

28th August - Lochaber Agricultural Show - 10am - Happy Valley Torlundy. Adults £7, OAP's £5
